The training course will teach each candidate the dangers associated with the use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings whilst administering first aid in a high-risk & high-pressured environment for the purpose of saving a life.
Numbers
A maximum of 12 students per instructor are allowed and must be a minimum age of 14 years. All certificates last a 3-year period and will expire as dated on the certificate, irrespective of age.
Location
We can deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises, or we are happy for candidates to join us at our venue in Milton Keynes, where we can offer a host of realistic scenarios.
The course is made up of a theoretical session delivered by the Instructor who will provide a detailed course programme for the day.
Our final assessment is designed to be as realistic as possible, allowing candidates to enter a dark Smokey environment to save the life of several casualties who have been caught in a local incident.

All assessments will be carried out throughout the day by one of our experienced trainers Candidates will receive a Level 3 Award in Catastrophic Bleed Control on successfully completing the course.

All delegates must be a minimum of 18 years of age and hold a current first aid certificate.
