How old do I have to be to join a SIA Course?
No. All candidates must be a minimum of 18 years to take a place on the SIA DS course.
How many days is a DS Course?
The DS course is a mandatory 6 days which is set by the SIA.
Can I become a DS with a criminal conviction?

Is there homework / Pre-learning?
Yes, you are required to complete ** hours of pre-learning plus completing the ACT training modules.
Do I have to wait for my certificate to apply for my license?
No, your results will be uploaded to your SIA account.
How much is the license?

Does a Door Supervisor course include CCTV?
No. All our courses are stand-alone courses, but if you are interested in multiple courses, please email ta@pinkpunter.com to discuss multi-course discount.
Does my fee include my license?
No, The fee payable is for the course only, once completed will be required to apply for your license via the SIA.
Do I have to be a first Aider to hold a SIA License?
It is now a mandatory requirement that ALL DS & Security personnel hold a valid EFAW certificate with a minimum of 1 year left before expiry.
